Nanea Designs namesake is derived from my families ranch in Kaumana. My mom planted Laua'e around the property, had it etched into the glass, imprinted on the ground, and taught us to print them on aprons with green paint similar to this design. She would always tell me that it was her favorite because it is the humble fern, it grows from mauka too makai. In honor of my mom & the ranch I grew up on, this design carries the impression of the humble ferns.
